SUMMARY :
Nyx is a good bodyguard found in Mustallah, the capital town of Nasheen. The centuries-long holy battle between Nasheen and Chenja can be choosing its toll, with shortages and rationing creating the Queen to reduce power and acceptance. While safeguarding the daughter of a Ras Tiegan Diplomat, Nyx can be attacked by several assassins. Nyx survives, but commences to have problems with a strange, debilitating state that no one can identify. Swept up in a whirl-wind of intrigue concerning Bel Dam Assassins plotting against the Queen, Nyx must study who the rogue Bel Dam can be, and locate a cure on her behalf illness, while preventing the wrath of the queen she actually is trying to safeguard.
